Parasailing Weight Limit

  Print
There is a combined weight limit of 350 pounds when going parasailing.  The parasail can accommodate much more weight than this, but the limiting factor is the tow line connecting the parasail to the boat.  The tension on this line can become immense, exceeding thousands of pounds depending on your weight, the seas, and the weather conditions.  Ultimately the captain of the boat will make the final decision the day of the tour.  His decision is for your safety and is dependent not only on your size, but the sea and weather conditions as well.  If the tour is cancelled because of inclement weather, the tour will be rescheduled or your money refunded.
